90-Day Inspections
90-day inspections are a type of EWP inspection required by the Australian standards and regulations to be carried out every 90 days. The inspection includes a visual inspection of the EWP components and systems, checking for any damage, excessive wear, or leaks. The inspection also involves testing the critical safety features such as the emergency stop, limit switches, and interlocks. The purpose of the 90-day inspections is to identify any potential issues early on, allowing for prompt and efficient repairs, and to maintain the safe and reliable operation of the EWP.
Annual Inspections
Annual inspections are a critical part of EWP maintenance, required by Australian standards and regulations to be carried out at least once every 12 months. These inspections are designed to ensure that the EWP is in good working order and is safe to use. During the annual inspection, a qualified technician will perform a comprehensive examination of the EWP, checking for any defects or malfunctions that may compromise safety or performance. The inspection will include a visual inspection of the equipment’s structural integrity, hydraulics, electrical system, safety features, and any other components that may be specific to the type of EWP.
