Workshop and on site repairs
If a machine has eaten parts and still has the same fault, it was never diagnosed. We find the cause, price the repair and finish the job.
Aerial Platform Solutions repairs scissor lifts, boom lifts and specialist access equipment from all the major brands, in its Darch workshop or on site. Hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, fabrication and structural repairs, backed by over 2,000 parts lines in stock. The machine does not need to have been bought from us.
What we repair
EWPs mix hydraulics, electronics, interlocks and software. One bad input can shut down the whole machine, so we test the system instead of blaming the most expensive part.
Pressure, flow, valves, cylinders, load holding, leaks and drift. Hoses made in the workshop.
Controllers, sensors, switches, alarms, interlocks, relays and wiring. Looms made in the workshop.
Engines, drive, steering, brakes, pins, bushes and wear parts.
Manufacturer software, wiring diagrams, fault codes and calibration where supported.
Fabrication and structural repairs
A cracked boom, a worn pin boss or a damaged load bearing part is not a quick patch. The cause, the material, the repair method and the checking afterwards all matter.

Assessments
Two jobs where you need someone to look properly and tell you straight.
We inspect the damage and the parts around it that may have taken the load, prepare a technical repair scope and an insurance quote, and can complete the approved repair. The estimate separates confirmed work from items that depend on further dismantling.
Before you buy a used EWP we check its identity, available history, structure, hydraulics, electrics, drive, brakes and emergency systems, with a full function test. The report says what was checked, what could not be confirmed without dismantling, and the likely repair priorities.
How we run a repair
We start with what the machine is doing, when it does it and what has already been changed.
Software, diagrams, electrical tests, pressure checks and mechanical inspection, as the job needs.
We explain the cause and the scope, then complete and test the approved work.
Common questions
Yes. We repair all the major EWP makes, no matter who sold or serviced the machine before.
Breakdowns and smaller work can often be handled on site. Major hydraulic, structural, electrical and strip down work belongs in the workshop.
Yes. We hold over 2,000 parts lines at our Darch workshop, and source anything else by make, model and serial number.
Yes, but intermittent faults take evidence and time. Fault codes, what the operator saw and the exact conditions help us reproduce it.
Critical components are crack tested to confirm they meet the criteria. Non structural welds are not certified, and we will tell you which is which.
