Faults we see often.
Will not drive or lift
Often an interlock, a sensor, a battery or charger problem, or a hydraulic fault. We test before replacing parts.
Platform drifts or lowers
Usually a cylinder, holding valve or hydraulic leak. We find which one.
Tilt or pothole faults
Sensors, switches and pothole protection mechanisms checked and set.
Battery and charger faults
Low voltage faults, tired batteries and failed chargers.

Do you repair all scissor lift brands?
Yes. We are the Skyjack dealer and service agent for WA and an authorised Genie and Sinoboom service provider, and we work on the other major brands as well.
Can you fix a scissor lift on site?
Usually. We aim to fix every breakdown in the field wherever possible. Bigger hydraulic or structural work comes back to the Darch workshop.
How often does a scissor lift need inspecting?
At least every three months while in service, with an annual inspection every twelve months, and a major inspection at ten years under AS 2550.10.
